To the Summit for Their Future: Climb with Purpose 2026
Together, we climb for brighter futures.
This March 2026, a small but mighty team of Dove Youth Development supporters and staff will take on the climb of a lifetime up Pico Duarte, the highest mountain in the Caribbean, standing over 10,000 feet tall.
Led by Elizabeth “Liz” Rooney, Executive Director of Dove Youth Development, the team will include Art, a longtime Dove child sponsor. Together, they’ll embark on a 2.5 day expedition to the summit, and they’re inviting you to join them.
The climb represents the courage, perseverance, and determination that Dove’s youth demonstrate every day as they overcome challenges and reach for their dreams. Each step symbolizes the power of education, opportunity, and hope, the very heart of Dove’s mission to change lives one child at a time.
